Since we were left by Raqferd who went to Bohol and ate Jess who has a shift, I and Bernadette had an exciting Friday Adventure. It was our first time to go to Venice Grand Canal Mall and guess what our navigation app made our drive longer. But it was also our fault, we weren’t paying attention to the signs on the road. Good thing, the app showed us an alternate route since we almost got lost.
We haven’t eaten anything as we drove along c5 road. Luckily, we found our destination and immediately looked for a place to park. We’re supposed to look for a restaurant but when we saw this magnificent work of art we couldn’t help but capture the beauty displayed right before our eyes. We tried to pose like models, tried some “Candy Mag-like” and fierce some shots. We didn’t care about what other people think since they don’t know who we are. The gadgets we brought did capture really great shots which we would usually call “Pangmalakasan”. Too bad, our freelance model sib wasn’t with us.
After the first set of photo shoot, hunger struck back. We were trying to avoid rice but we ended up eating at Shawarma Bros. I knew that too much beef is bad for me, so i tried to moderate even if it was the best shawarma I’ve ever had. Their Garlic Yogurt and Chili Tomatoes complemented the dish. We also paired it with Nachos and Iced Tea. Price is also budget friendly. We only spent Php567 which really filled our empty stomach.
After eating, we started the second part of our photo shoot. We tried to look for different spots. We’ve already taken lots of photos but we still want more. We also inquired about the Gondola ride which was the highlight of our Friday Adventure. When we knew how much it would cost us to try it, we’re like “money has never been an issue”. T’was the other way around though. We waited until our number was called. We rode the Gondola with Ate on stripes who also took some pictures of me and Bernadette. Sadly, we forgot to ask her name. The ride lasted for only five minutes. We’re kinda disappointed and somehow regretted that we spent Php700 for it since it’s a Friday. Stingy peeps…
Had our early light dinner at Empire Bar. Ordered Salmon Niscoise, Mango and Melon smoothie which is just right for its price. The ambiance is a mix of cozy and chill since they were playing reggae rendition of some pop songs. We also did the editing and blogging in the same place. Honestly, it’s not bad for Php800 bill.
I, Aloysious wrote this in behalf of my sib. I hope you enjoyed reading this opus and appreciate the pictures that we’ve posted. PS. We would highly recommend those two restaurants mentioned in this blog. Have a nice day!
